This is Russian Federal highway Moscow city - Yakutsk City, named “Lena”, nowadays.

The road doesn’t have asfalt surface, though it is a Federal, vital highway.

Everytime it rains the road gets paralized, these shots are made a few days before the traffic jam for 600 cars got stuck there. Hunger and lack of the fuel followed, according to the witnesses. One woman gave a born to a child right in the public bus she was riding.

Construction team afraids to appear on site because during their previous visit it was beaten by people who stuck in the jam for a few days. People breaking the locks on the trucks, in a search of food and warm cloths.

Fuel, food, firearms and steel tow-line are the things that are needed most these days on this Federal highway.

But you better buy now: Vertu says only 26 Pythons will be made.

Atkin's Architecture Group recently won the first prize award for an international design competition with this stunning entry. Set in a spectacular water filled quarry in Songjiang, China, the 400 bed resort hotel is uniquely constructed within the natural elements of the quarry. Underwater public areas and guest rooms add to the uniqueness, but the resort also boasts cafes, restaurants and sporting facilities. The lowest level runs with the aquatic theme by housing a luxurious swimming pool and an extreme sports center for activities such as rock climbing and bungee jumping which will be cantilevered over the quarry and accessed by special lifts from the water. With a stunning visual presentation as shown here, it's no wonder this project took home the first prize. This is a fine example of an ultra modern facility co-existing amongst its natural environment.

LONDON - Wanted: Young single woman in need of cut price romantic Caribbean holiday.
The vacation for two is on sale on Internet site eBay for just a fraction of its 2,400 pound ($4,700) value.
But here's the catch -- it comes with a companion.
Adam Croot, who had planned the holiday to propose to his partner, was dumped by her just weeks ago.
But rather than lose the money on the non-refundable flights and hotel deposit, the 39-year-old decided to go anyway and find another woman to join him, for a payment of 642 pounds ($1,259).

The digital classic camera Leica M3 from the optical and miniaturisation specialists MINOX of Germany, shoots 4 megapixel images and is a replica of the Leica classic camera in ultra miniature format.
Although unusual, the MINOX Digital Classic Camera Leica M3 is both easy to use and ideal for those getting started in the field of digital photography and want classic convention rather than high-tech.

Up to 99 images can be recorded on the internal 32 MB memory. The camera includes a USB cable for the convenient and fast transfer of the images onto a PC. The LCD display on the camera back provides information on the number of images left to shoot at any one time.

Ok, movie fans of Brangelina - the famously, handsome couple are cutting back on their movies because they want to spend more time with their kids.Supposedly, Angelina said: 'The more we are getting older, the more we want to spend with our children. We don't have a desire to raise our children in Hollywood and be at sets all day. We want to travel and show them the world.'

This beautifully monumental public art work is a proposal for a lunar clock which will track the 'the phase and position of the Moon, and the height of the tides'. A group of British designers and engineers have grouped together under the name of The Aluna Project to create this forty metre wide, five storey high structure which will be situated in both the UK and Australia, making it a dual-hemisphere installation. The design team say Aluna is designed to incorporate science, technology and sustainability into public art. Aluna is described as 'a journey of rediscovery of the natural science between the Moon, the tides and a planet dominated by water. Aluna makes the link between ourselves, the Earth and the Moon. Aluna leaves an awareness of our place in the Universe and encourages a sustainable future. Aluna demonstrates one of the world’s most reliable renewable energy sources. As long as the Moon circles the Earth, the Earth keeps turning and the oceans don’t freeze, the tides will keep ebbing and flowing.'

We've seen wooden keyboards and mice before, but a new company, Wood Contour, is making a custom built desktop computer made from a single piece of hardwood. You don't have to worry about deforestation, as the company says the lumber comes from forests that are responsibly managed. or so they say. It'll cost you though....for a 17" monitor, expect to pay $395. The solid wood wireless mouse is $149 and you pick from several types of wood, such as cherry or maple.
The set of dusty library books and smoking jacket is extra.

Remember the mouse pad? Just like Vanilla Ice, they peaked in the 90s, but now just sort of take up space. That was, until Man had a Vision.
The Mousepad Couch is made up of over...a bunch...of mousepads. It looks extremely comfortable, could be even better in a multicolor or photo pad version.
